Site work and paving for a civil project in Flowood, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of March 30,2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The bid items include the Bidder furnishing all labor, materials & equipment required to accomplish any one or more of the following work: sewer bypassing, waste water system installation and/or repairs, water system installation and/or repairs, pavement removal and replacement, excavation, concrete work, dewatering, cleaning, TVing, CIPP, sewer point repairs, and other items as shown on the Proposal Form. A Bid Bond will not be required on this project. Contractor(s) will be required to post a $500,000.00 bond in lieu of a Payment and Performance Bond for the contract time period. No prospective CONTRACTOR may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof. The CITY OF FLOWOOD reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities or to reject any or all bids. The intent of Bids received by Owner is to establish unit prices for anticipated work that may be necessary to repair City Owned infrastructure in emergency or certain other situations. Bids will be compared and awarded at the time services are needed on the basis of the required pay items, quantity, unit price for the work that is required and the availability of the Bidder.
