Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; and playground / park / athletic field.

The objective of the City is to have a firm work with its newly formed Swimming Pool / Water Park Task Force to formulate a plan for a new facility. The City's current swimming pool is located in Forest Park. The City wants to find a firm that will guide the Task Force in assessing needs as well as planning and conceptual design of a facility that meets the identified needs of the community. This may include consideration of other sites as well as evaluation of the current infrastructure to ascertain if any of it can be incorporated into an upgraded facility. The City of Ottawa also reserves the right to negotiate with any firm concerning all or part of any proposal that is in the best interest of the City The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
