Renovation of a mixed-use development in Brecksville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
It is understood and agreed that work embodied in this Contract for the Base Bids and Alternates as awarded shall start on or about June 12, 2023, and exterior envelope and interior mechanical work shall be completed no later than August 11, 2023, unless an extension of time is granted by the Owner. A fee of $1,000.00 per day may be charged for work not complete by August 11, 2023. The outside mechanical work will need to be complete no later than November 30, 2023 with a $1,000/day penalty. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, shall state the price for labor and materials, and must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTEE meeting the requirements of Section 153.571 and 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. If in the opinion of the Owner, the acceptance of the lowest responsible bid is not in the best interest of all concerned, the Owner may accept another proposal so opened or reject all proposals and advertise for other bids.
