As of January 30, 2024, per owner, this was not a construction project. It was to secure a vendor to operate their transit program, so no contractor, engineers, or architects. Notice is hereby given that proposals are invited, and will be received for providing coordinated public transportation services offered in Benton County (through Benton Area Transit) for seniors and persons with disabilities as those terms are defined in Oregon Administrative Rule 732-05- 010; and for those who are unable to use or access fixed-route general public transit services in the Corvallis Transit System and the Philomath Connection ADA service areas; and for the general public on rural fixed routes. The contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend for two additional one-year terms at the County's discretion. A sample contract is included in the RFP, and submittal of a proposal shall constitute proposer's agreement to enter into the County's form of contract. Qualified proposers must have a minimum of three years of experience providing similar services, and must be able to comply with FTA, ODOT and Benton County laws, rules and regulations. Contract years are fiscal years and run from July 1st through June 30th. Benton County reserves the right to not select any proposal if the information submitted is not in compliance with the requirements of the RFP, or if it is not in the best interest of the County to make a selection from those proposers responding to the RFP. All interested proposers must comply with the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.840 or 40 USC 276a, and the applicable provisions of the Equal Opportunity Act of 1972, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended.
