The City of Piqua is currently accepting bids for four (4) Asbestos Abatement Projects located 220 - 222 N. College St.; 458 Riverside Dr.; 603 Covington Ave.; 916 Marlboro. The purpose of the projects are to ready the structures for complete demolition. The Asbestos Survey Projects may be viewed in entirety and or downloaded by visiting the City of Piqua Bid The Asbestos Abatement Projects will be listed under: IFB 2301 - Asbestos Abatement Project 220 N. College Street and 222 N. College Street IFB 2302 - Asbestos Abatement Project 458 Riverside Drive IFB 2303 - Asbestos Abatement Project 603 Covington Avenue IFB 2304 - Asbestos Abatement Project 916 Marlboro All federal, state, and local laws regarding competitive bidding, anti-competitive practices, and conflict of interest shall be applicable to this I.F.B. This project is federally-funded and is subject to Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code regarding Prevailing Rates of Wages. The City of Piqua is exempt from payment of federal excise taxes and state retail sales taxes (Federal Excise Tax Exemption Certification No. 31-6000136).
