The project involves asphalt pavement milling and resurfacing of 9 street segments as follows: Market Street from S. Main Street to S. Chauncey Street Market Street from S. Chauncey Street to S. Line Street Hancock Farm Road from S. Eagle Glen Trail to S. 200 E. Mulberry Street from Douglas Street to N. Main Street Jefferson Street from N. Whitley Street to N. Madison Street Van Buren Street from N. Walnut Street to W. Old Trail Road Van Buren Street from W. Old Trail Road to W. Lincolnway Road Connexion Way from W. Lincolnway Rd. to 1,762' East of W Lincolnway Jeffrey Drive from E. North Street to Blue River Drive Also included are 8 ADA and PROWAG compliant concrete curb ramps; all within the Urban Limits of the City of Columbia City. Bid proposals shall be complete and properly executed on the bid form and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashiers check payable to the City of Columbia City, or a bid bond in the amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the City of Columbia City Public Board of Works will consider the Total Base Bid made for the contract. The City of Columbia City may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents such as experience and subcontractors. The City of Columbia City Board of Public Works reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding and to award contracts in the best interest of the City of Columbia City.
