Engineer's Estimate - $3,638,566.16 Detailed specifications and bid forms are on file in the Finance Office at the Fairfield Municipal Building, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio and online at Fairfield-city.org. Bids must be submitted on the forms in the Contract Documents and other conditions therein described must be met. A DBE goal of 7.00% has been established for this project. Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashiers Check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted unless otherwise specified). Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or a Certified Check for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, or an irrevocable letter of credit as stated in the Notice to Bidders. When the agreement is executed, the Bonds of the remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The Bid Bond of the successful bidder will be retained until Payment Bond and Performance Bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Notice to Proceed shall be issued within thirty (30) days of the execution of the Agreement by the Owner. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than 180 calendar days from the award of the Notice to Proceed.
