Renovation of a water / sewer project in Gananoque, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work to be completed under this contract is located at the Stone St. Sewage Pumping Station, 420 Stone St., Gananoque Ontario as well as work at the Gananoque Water Tower located at the municipal yard at 680 Charles St. N. in Gananoque. The work at the Stone St. SPS consists of: - Provision of new PLC panel and configuration of the PLC and touchscreen operator interface terminal. - Wiring of existing and new devices into PLC I/O for control and monitoring of the Station. - Replacement of ultrasonic level sensor / controller with a hazardous-area-rated radar level sensor. Radar sensor to be used as primary level control instrument. -Replacement of float switches with a hazardous-area-rated MultiTrode 10-sensor level probe and level controller. MultiTrode to be used as back-up level control instrument. - Confined space entry for removals an installation of the new instrumentation and wiring within the Stone St. SPS. - Modification of existing pump starter control wiring to accommodate new level control instruments. - Provision of network administration services to establish secure communications between the Station and the Water Treatment Plant. - Provision of SCADA configuration at the Water Treatment Plant for the monitoring and control of the Station. The work at the Water Tower consists of: - Wiring of existing and new devices into remote I/O panel for monitoring of the water tower. - Provision of network administration services to establish secure communications between the Station and the Water Treatment Plant. - Provision of SCADA configuration at the Water Treatment Plant for the monitoring of the Tower. The work at each of the work areas will include: - Commissioning of all PLC / SCADA monitoring, controlling, and alarming. - Obtaining necessary ESA permits and inspections to complete the scope of work. - Developing a process control narrative for the SPS and the Tower based on contract specifications and drawings. Questions will be received until end of day January 27th, 2023, and must be submitted in writing to the Engineer.
