Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Clarification Deadline 1/20/2023 6:00 PM Work shall consist of roadway restoration and reconstruction through excavation and/or milling of existing pavement, placement of stone aggregate subbase, Superpave bituminous base and wearing courses totaling approximately 23,500 square yards at 28 separate locations throughout the Borough including streets and alleys. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within Sixty 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
