Renovation and addition to a medical facility in Brandon, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the addition of a 79,868-square-foot, four-story above grade medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility.
Construction of a four-storey 79,868 sq ft (7,420 sq m) addition to the north side of the existing BRHC containing a new 16 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the ground floor, a new 30 bed Inpatient Unit (IPU) on the second floor, a mechanical and electrical plant on the third floor, and shell space, for a future Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on the fourth floor, and a partial renovation scope of approximately 1,880 sq ft (175 sq m) in and around the existing NICU on the fourth floor of the adjacent hospital.
