No definite date for the rebid.** For Hinrichs Place and LaFrance Avenue Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation The work includes replacement of approximately 270 linear feet of 8-inch diameter, sanitary sewer at Hinrichs Place between Myrtle Street and JFK Drive South, including the installation of approximately seven (7) new sewer house connections. The work also includes the rehabilitation of three sanitary sewer manholes along LaFrance Avenue. This rehabilitation involves reconstruction of the manhole inverts, benches and channels. The manholes are approximately ten feet in depth. In order to perform this work, the contract also includes by-pass pumping as well as maintenance and protection of traffic Work to be completed in 30 calendar days. Because of the emergent need for this project, work for this project shall commence within fifteen calendar days from execution of the contract, including providing all materials and deliverables required for the work. Bids must be made on proposal forms and must be enclosed in sealed, special addressed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and work bid upon, on the outside, and must be accompanied by a duly executed Consent of Surety, Statement of Financial Responsibility, Non-Collusion Affidavit and Certified Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 as a guarantee of good faith and must be delivered at the above place at the time designated. Bids not enclosed in special addressed envelopes will be considered informal and will not be opened. Bidders are required to be registered by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development at the time bids will be received by the Township Of Bloomfield pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (P.L. 2003, c. 91, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51). Bidders are also required to be registered by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue at the time bids will be received by the Township Of Bloomfield pursuant to the Business Registration Act (P.L.2004, c.57, N.J.S.A.52:32-44). Bidders shall also comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, Chapter 127 and P.L. 1982, Chapter 107. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. & N.J.A.C. 17:27.
