As of February 8, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The work covered by these plans and specifications consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment; performing all operations necessary for the construction of roadway, signing and pavement marking improvements at the intersection of Lenox Avenue and Middleburg Road as specified in the Contract Documents. The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of traffic separators, construction of sidewalk connections, construction of concrete separator islands, construction of curb and gutter, refurbishment of pavement markings, install new pavement markings with appropriate signage and components shown in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Bidders mush show proof of previous similar work at a minimum of two (2) locations within the past ten (10) years. Work must have been completed per MUTCD and City of Jacksonville Standards. Bidders must be FDOT Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certified at the time of bid opening.
