Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95, Lake County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for 06A-1 General Trades for the 2023 Door and Frame Replacement and Miscellaneous Renovations project for six locations in Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 (Isaac Fox Elementary School, Sarah Adams Elementary School, Seth Paine Elementary School, Middle School South, Lake Zurich High School, and Middle School North). All Contractors shall use the bid day label provided with their Bid Form. SCOPE OF WORK The proposed project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of interior and exterior doors and frames as indicated at each building; the replacement of two exterior stairs at Lake Zurich High School; and extending an existing wall up to the underside of the deck at Sarah Adams Elementary School. Bidders will then be granted access to SmartBid to download drawings for free. Lamp Incorporated will be utilizing SmartBid for the entire bidding process, including addenda, so all interested bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to access the SmartBid network. All Contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last twelve months. Contractors' qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated's office by 5:00 P.M., Thursday, January 12, 2023. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the Contract. The successful bidder is required to pay the Prevailing Wage for work under this Contract and shall submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
