The project involves work relating to masonry restoration, cleaning, repointing, gutter and flashing repair, etc. on the north and west elevations of the courthouse.Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package requests to Meredith Aliff maliff@silling.com and a Bid Package will be sent out in digital format. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are the responsibility of the bidders and are non-refundable. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall provide a copy of their WV Contractor's license and include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. All bidders must attend the Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location, site conditions, and other relevant information. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is mandatory for bid qualification. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
