The San Bernardino Community College District (SBCCD) of San Bernardino County, acting by and through its Governing Board, is seeking bids from contractors with a Class B General Building Contractor license and DIR registration # that are interested in providing construction services for "Renovation at 550 E Hospitality ln, Suite 300 Project, NIB 03-2223-04" . Construction Services for Renovation at 550 E Hospitality Ln, Suite 300, San Bernardino, CA 92408. This scope includes but not limited to the renovation works to an existing building to accommodate new layout. All suites will have new flooring, millwork, drywall, framing, new doors, glazing, ALL NEW acoustic ceiling and T-bar, paint, electrical to include title 24 upgrades, plumbing, mechanical upgrades, and modification to include controls, certified air balance. Fire Life Safety is Design Build - General Contractor and General Contractors fire sprinkler and fire alarm contractor are responsible for walking the space, field verifying the site against the plans and determining what work is required. The General Contractor and the sub-contractor are responsible for all cost related to system modification, relocation of all piping, sprinkler heads, devices and newly installed or relocated items, the plans, the permit cost, the design and work necessary. All pipes should be cut outside of the building in a designated location provided by landlord. The plans for this scope and building rules and regulations are shown on Exhibits D and E The building has existing tenants on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor and they will occupy these floors during the entire construction phase. This requires after hours work to be done during some portions of the project to minimize noise pollution and interfering with regular business hour duties for the existing tenants. The Contractor is required to develop, submit and gain approval from the City of San Bernardino and any other approval as required to ensure Contractor's work complies with any and all applicable federal, state, local or municipal laws, rules, orders, regulations, statutes, ordinances, codes, decrees, or requirements of any Governmental Authority prior to starting this scope of work.
