The objective of the project is to design and construct a new lift station that meets current regulatory standards and provides reliable, long-term wastewater servicing capacity, while maintaining uninterrupted operation of the existing lift station throughout construction. The project aims to safely deliver a fully functional and commissioned facility with minimal impact to surrounding infrastructure, accommodating future growth and ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and system resilience. The scope of work for the project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site preparation, excavation, shoring, and grading Installation of deep utilities, including sanitary sewer, force main, and water services Installation of shallow utilities, including electrical power and gas service connections Construction of sanitary manholes and installation of valves Wet well construction using a sunken caisson method Construction of underground meter platform, building foundations, and substructures Masonry and structural steel works Supply and installation of access components including platforms, handrails, ladders, hatches, and safety systems Installation of equipment cranes, hoists, and beams Construction of building superstructure and architectural components Installation of process mechanical systems, including pumps, grinders, valves, and piping Installation of HVAC systems Electrical, instrumentation, and control systems SCADA integration and system commissioning Site works including asphalt paving, gravel surfaces, fencing, gates, bollards, and related appurtenances Landscaping, site restoration, and final site cleanup Maintenance of the existing lift station in full operation during construction Provision of temporary bypass pumping Testing and commissioning of the new lift station Demolition and removal of the existing lift station following successful commissioning of the new facility Documents can be obtained from https://rmwb.bidsandtenders.ca/ Bid values are undisclosed.
