Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Grand Valley, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Grand Valley is seeking tenders from qualified constructors for the construction of the Park Site Pumphouse for the Town. It involves upgrades to a municipal well (PW5) including submersible pump installation and piping to the new pumphouse, constructing the new pumphouse equipped with a chemical system for disinfection by chlorination as well as associated electrical, instrumentation and control equipment. The project also includes a 125 kW outdoor standby generator, yard piping, 355 m of chlorine contact piping, 300 m of watermain to connect to the existing water distribution system, installation of a pre-fabricated sewage pumping station, and 380 m of forcemain. The work also involves reconfiguring the adjacent well (TW20-1) into a multi-level monitoring well and decommissioning four (4) existing monitoring wells constructed as part of the geotechnical investigation. The pumphouse is located at 242264 Concession Road 2-3, adjacent to the park at the southeast corner of Concession Road 2-3 and Sideroad 28 & 29 in the Town of Grand Valley ("Place of the Work") for the Town of Grand Valley ("Owner").
