Enquiries Deadline 2023-01-25 12:00:00 PM Island Health Facilities Maintenance and Operations (FMO) anticipates various minor Hazardous Material Remediation projects over the next number of years as part of the normal maintenance and repairs of its owned facilities and leased sites. The intent of this RFP is to identify those Remediation Contractors capable of meeting Island Health requirements in an economical and consistently timely manner, and with whom a contract can be negotiated.--- Island Health desires to establish a contractual relationship with qualified Hazardous Materials Remediation Contractors (preferred vendor(s)) capable of providing Hazardous Materials Remediation Services supporting all related projects and various work requests over the next number of years. These projects will be on an as needed basis. Specifically, Island Health is looking for contractors experienced in Health Care facilities type remediation (including but not limited to asbestos, mould, avian and rodent pathogens, mercury, radioactive materials, lead paint and any other hazardous material associated with health care facilities building fabric and systems) ranging in size from $1,000 to $75,000 (with occasional larger projects) but most projects are anticipated to be in the under $75,000 range.
