Description: Request for Quotes to Perform Eddy Current Testing and Cleaning on Both the Evaporator and Condenser Sides on (4) 900 Ton York Chillers. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: During the recent preventive maintenance, split temperatures taken from all (4) chillers were low, indicating that all chillers condenser barrels are due for cleaning of scale. Chemical treatment and brushing of the tubes to remove the scaling is required for operation of the chillers. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 30 days from performance start date. Work may be scheduled during the day, Monday thru Friday. Daytime hours: 5 am to 4 pm Contractor shall initiate work within 2 weeks of being contacted by the designated Contracting Officer s Point of Contact (POC) or designee. Work shall be scheduled through the POC or designee, who will coordinate with VALLHCS staff. Timelines are subject to change due to VALLHCS operational requirements. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: VA Loma Linda 11201 Benton St Loma Linda, CA 92357 Questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to Freddy Osuna no later than 7 calendar days prior to the date in block 8 of the SF 1449.
