The County of Santa Clara Procurement Department is accepting sealed Bids, at 150 West Tasman Drive; San Jose, CA, 95034 on February 22, 2023, before 3:00 PM for Plumbing Services, in accordance with Bid Documents on file for the Work in the Procurement Department. It is the intent of the County of Santa Clara, Procurement Department to establish a term contract with a contractor to provide plumbing services on an as-needed basis. The term contract shall be for a period of one (1) year, or up to a value of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000), whichever is reached first. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary equipment, tools, materials, labor, and supplies required to perform the work as specified herein. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check, or a bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Contract Sum of two hundred thousand dollars ($ 200,000). The "payment bond for public works" must be in an amount of 100% of the Contract Sum as specified in the Notice to Bidders and shall inure to the benefit of persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection with the Work The “performance bond” must be in an amount of 100% of the Contract Sum as specified in the Notice to Bidders and must be so conditioned as to ensure the faithful performance by Contractor of all Work.
