The City of Coronado invites sealed bids for the STREET PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FY 22/23 project. This project consists of removing roadway striping and markings, sweeping, crack-filling, slurry coating, and restoring roadway striping and markings for approximately 1,100,000 square feet of asphalt roadways, parking lots, and bikeways including approximately 100,000 square feet in the Coronado Municipal Golf Course parking lot, 15,000 square feet at the maintenance shed area adjacent to the golf course, and approximately 14,000 LF of ten-foot wide Class I bikeway (known as the Bayshore Bikeway) along The Silver Stand. The project scope includes implementing advanced construction notifications and appropriate traffic control measures for the public. Also included in the project is approximately 1,089 linear feet of alleyways which will have fire lane stripes repainted resulting in a total of 2,178 linear feet of 6-inch wide red fire lane striping. State of California Class A General Engineering, Class C12 Earthwork and Paving, or Class C-32 Parking and Highway Improvement Contractor's License at the time the Contract is awarded.
