Lincoln Park has a Decomposed Granite (DG) walking path, approximately 22,000 square feet, that needs to be rehabilitated and aged fitness equipment that must be removed and replaced. The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, traffic control, fencing and services necessary to deliver project as specified in the details and scope of work. Public Contract Code sections 2202-2208 This Notice Inviting Bids is being completed for the City of Corona Public Works Department to award an agreement to a qualified Contractor for the removal of existing aged fitness equipment at Lincoln Park and replace with new fitness equipment. In addition, Lincoln Park has a Decomposed Granite (DG) walking path, approximately 22,000 square feet, that needs to be rehabilitated. The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, traffic control, fencing and services necessary to deliver project as specified in the details and scope of work. All prospective bidders shall access the Documents & Attachments Tab to review and download all bid documents posted electronically for the Project. The solicitation documents include, but are not limited to, bid and contract documents, specifications, drawings, appendices, and required bid forms. Bidders shall complete the required bid forms in their entirety and submit electronically through the electronically. Bidders will not be able to submit their bids without uploading each of the required documents through the electronically. Bidders shall use the Line Items Tab to submit their bid price. All addenda shall be acknowledged electronically through the electronically. The City shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as determined from the summation of the Total Base Bid Schedule and the Total Alternate Bid Schedule combined. However, the City may choose to award the Contract on the basis of the base bid alone or the base bid and any selected alternate bid item or combination of selected bid items. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Please allow sufficient time to fully complete and upload each and every document prior to the bid submission deadline. Bid documents can be uploaded, modified or withdrawn any time prior to the bid submission deadline. Please review the E-bidding Instructions FAQs uploaded to the Documents & Attachments Tab, electronically system will not accept late bids. No exceptions. Failure to submit electronic bids shall result in a non-responsive bid and will not be considered for award. Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the Plans, Specifications or other Contract Documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the City by submission of a written request for an interpretation or correction to the City. Such submission, if any, must be sent through the City's PlanetBids electronic bidding system utilizing the Questions & Answers tab. Questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2023.
