The City of Owensboro is seeking a qualified mowing / landscape contractor to provide single-track trail maintenance to include weedeating, corridor clearing, and annual trail blowing at Rudy Mine Trails located at Ben Hawes Park, 5687 West Hwy 60, Owensboro, KY 42301. The initial contract will be one year from date of award.With mutual agreement of the vendor and the City of Owensboro the contract may be renewed for four (4) additional one (1) year periods for a total of five (5) years, at the current bid price. The contract will auto renew unless successful bidder has requested a price increase 30 days prior to the end of the contract period. Every request for such interpretation, clarification, or additional information should be in writing addressed to Kalyn Fox, Purchasing Agent, at City Hall (101 E. 4th Street, Owensboro, KY 42303) or emailed to bids@owensboro.org and to be given consideration must be received by Thursday, January 19, 2023. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be uploaded to the City's vendor registry website at https://purchasing.owensboroky.gov/, for the vendor to download. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such bidder from any obligation under his/her bid as submitted. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents. No bid security, payment bond, or performance bond is required for this project. The right is reserved to reject all or any part of your offer.
