Pre Bid Conference: None Bulletin Desc: Water system gate valves The City of Pendleton Public Works Department is requesting quotes for the purchase and installation of (1) 16" insertion resilient wedge gate valve and (1) 8" insertion resilient wedge gate valve in its water distribution system. These valves are needed in a part of the water system where currently a shutdown affects approximately 600 customers. City reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to select equipment and supplier that best meets their desired specifications. Consideration will also be given to availability of contractor to perform the installation and length of installation procedure, as City desires to have these valves installed and working in the system no later than May 2, 2023. The Bidder agrees to indemnify and save harmless the City of Pendleton from any and all defects appearing or developing in the workmanship or materials furnished under this RFQ for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation and final acceptance by the City. All warranty and inspection certificates shall be included with delivery. Full details of the equipment, including warranty, shall be supplied with the quote. The City of Pendleton reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, or portions of, waive any informalities and/or accept the quote which is in the best interest of the City of Pendleton.
