W.F. Mitchell Centre Hardwood Gym Flooring Refurbishment, at Building # 050, W.F. Mitchell Athletics Centre, at the University of Guelph. There are two scopes of work at two separate locations within the W.F. Mitchell Athletics Centre; in the Event Centre and West Gym. Event Centre Scope: Provide all labour, material and equipment to refinish approximately 21,000 sqft. of existing hardwood gym flooring in accordance with the specification located within Appendix D. Of note, scope to include all game line, text and logo painting (to match existing conditions) and new aluminum thresholds at transitions and openings. West Gym Scope: Provide all labour, material and equipment to replace approximately 10,000 sqft. of existing hardwood gym flooring in accordance with the specification located within Appendix D. More specifically, scope to include: - Removal and disposal of existing hardwood gym floor assembly down to base structure. Of note, existing rubber base cove to remain. - Supply, installation and finishing of new hardwood gym floor system (as proposed and accepted by the University). - Painting of all game lines, text and logos to match existing conditions. - New aluminum thresholds at transitions and openings.
