As of April 13, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor has not been confirmed at this time. The project involves installation of a stream pump around system, earthmoving, bulk grading, fine grading, seeding, planting and other related items along the Evans Run Tributary along State Route 441-River Rd. Location of Work In the Evan's Run stream channel area southeast of River Road (SR-441) extending to North Waterford Avenue. The stream is located on the property with an address of 1205 River Road, Marietta, PA 17547, East Donegal Township. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond payable to "East Donegal Township", in an amount not less than Ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bonds shall so state same. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 1/19/2023 2:00 PM The Contractor shall within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of notice to proceed, proceed with the work required under this contract and continue with the work continuously until completion. The project must be completed in ninety (90) days from the date of notice to proceed. Delays for inclement weather shall be at the discretion of the Township Engineer. In case of failure on the part of the Contractor to complete the work within the time fixed or any extensions thereof, the Contractor shall be liable to the Township for and shall pay to the Township the sum of $300.00 each calendar day of delay from the date stipulated for the completion of the work.
