Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of May 19 2023, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor has not been confirmed at this time. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/15/2023 5:00 PM The Project includes the installation of twenty-four paved parking spaces, stormwater management improvements, concrete sidewalks, paved walkways, shade trees, and benches. Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to "East Donegal Township" shall accompany each bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages should the bidder default in the execution of the contract within 10 days after notice of award of same. The non-collusion affidavit must be executed and submitted with the bid. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bonds shall so state the same. The project cost is greater than $25,000 and shall be bid utilizing PA Prevailing Wage Rates. A completed Public Works Employment Verification Form shall be submitted with the bid package.
