Harney County Fair invites and welcomes proposals for Project Management/Consulting Services for a Cultural Center and Fairgrounds Improvement Project. As of December 5, 2023, a design team has been selected. Per owner, they are looking to get the RFP for a general contractor out as soon as possible and have construction start soon after. *The previous closed solicitation is listed below for reference. Please take the time to carefully read and become familiar with the proposal requirements. Project Management and goals to oversee for this project are: 1) Removing dilapidated structures from the grounds that will be replaced by new construction. 2) Oversee ordering of and installation of a pre-engineered steel building, including plumbing and electrical needed for design. 3) Oversee upgrades to septic pumping system and 4) overseeing the construction of restrooms by Morgan Arena. Evaluation of proposals will be based on responsiveness to the requirements specified in this document and on price. The final award decision will be arrived at through a best-value analysis which considers all relevant factors for a project manager/consultant. Harney County Fair reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received and to accept or reject any items herein to be in the best interest of the County.
