The Town of Blowing Rock is seeking a highly qualified company to design, furnish and install an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system that provides for automated reading of water meters including meters, infrastructure for transmitting and receiving data, hardware, software, and training. The Town of Blowing Rock has approximately 2,250 meters. The proposed system shall provide for remote functions such as meter readding, usage management and endpoint alarm handling. The Town is pursuing one firm for the entire scope of work.
