Renovation of a multi-residential development in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Central Falls Housing Authority, Central Falls, Rhode Island, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for completing Corridor Painting at Wilfrid Manor, RI 4-1; in accordance with the documents prepared by William Starck Architects, Inc. The work generally includes, but is not limited to the painting of corridors and incidental spaces such as elevator lobbies, storage closets, trash rooms, etc. on floor levels 2 through 8. The last day for questions will be 12:00 P.M., Monday, January 9, 2023. Bids are subject to Equal Employment Opportunities, bonding requirements and other bidding and contract requirements as set forth in the construction documents. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Central Falls Housing Authority. Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. This project is subject to Title VI of the Civil rights Act of 1964, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and the Instructions to Bidders, which will be discussed in detail at the Pre-Bid Conference. This is a Section 3-eligible job opportunity. The Central Falls Housing Authority encourages bids from Contractors that are Section 3 business concerns and/or employ individuals who are classified in low-income category and/or live in Public Housing and/or receive a Section 8 Voucher. The Central Falls Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding if it be in the public interest to do so.
