This solicitation is for the removal and replacement of two (2) Kohler generators for The State of Louisiana, Department of Corrections, located at Dixon Correctional Institute - Water Well and Cell Block C, 5568 Highway 68, Jackson, LA 70848. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to "State of Louisiana - Department of Corrections") must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration. Please refer to Attachment A: Special Terms and Conditions page four (4) for complete details of this requirement.
