Site work for a civil project in Brookston, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnish and install temporary erosion control features. Strip and stockpile vegetative fill, rooting soil and random fill for reuse in a landfill final cover system and final restoration of a former dump across the road. Segregate on-site boulders. Excavate, haul, place and compact existing waste from the existing landfill and from a former dump across the road. Install landfill piping for drainage collection, gas venting and vapor monitoring. Install geomembrane liner and geocomposite. Perform construction/certification surveying, soil/geomembrane testing, and over quality assurance activities. Install security gate and restore site. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Excavation, Transportation, Disposal and Site Restoration.
