For 2023 Magnesium Chloride Project On February 28,2023, in the Office of the Moffat County Commissioners at 9:00 o'clock a.m. , the Road Department Director will present the bid results to the Board of County Commissioners along with his recommendation. The Moffat County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in Bids, and to accept the Bid that is in the best interests of Moffat County. Moffat County has appropriated a certain amount of funds for this bid item and reserves the right to change quantities The Owner requests at the time the bid is submitted the availability from date of order. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to accept other than the lowest Bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received. The Owner also reserves the right to reject the Bid if the Bidder fails to submit the data required by the Invitation to Bid, or if the Bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. Discrepancies between words and figures will be resolved in favor of words. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures, and the correct sum thereof, will be resolved in favor of the correct sum Bid price must be firm for a minimum of ninety (90) days from the date of bid opening. Moffat County reserves the right to negotiate a contract with the selected bidder. A Moffat County Purchase Order results in a binding contract to purchase per the conditions of this Invitation to Bid. Moffat County reserves the right to accept or reject any portion of the bid package If Contractor has not delivered the entire estimated gallons of product by June 20, 2023, Contractor shall pay Moffat County Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) liquidated damages for each day after June 20, 2023, unless the failure to deliver the product is the result of adverse weather conditions or is the result of Moffat County's inability to accept the product as set forth in the agreed upon delivery schedule. Moffat County will give one day for each day the Contractor or Moffat County is unable to work due to adverse weather conditions.
