Reference Number: AB-2023-00205 Calgary Transit (CT) is a business unit within the City of Calgary (The City) that is seeking proposals from qualified firms who are able to provide Machining, Fabrication, and Electroplating services on an if and when required basis. These services include the designing, manufacturing, assembling, repair and quality control of various parts and pieces provide Computer-Aided Design (CAD) documentation and engineered drawings. The products and services covered under this RFP will be used to support the maintenance and operation of various buses, light rail vehicles (LRV), light and heavy fleet vehicles, and support equipment. Other business units within The City, may utilize this contract, on an as if and when required basis. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. The City intends to enter into an Agreement up to four (4) highest rated propoenents for each schedule for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement will be for an initial term of one (1) year. The Agreement may be renewed nine (9) times for one (1) year at a time for a total term not to exceed maximum of Ten (10) years.
