Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gary, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a multi-residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the demolition of a multi-residential development.
Genesis Towers Vaulted Basement Sidewalk Replacement, UST Removal, & Selective Demolition Specification Number: 2023-001-001. Contractors are also strongly encouraged to register your firm as a potential vendor on the GHA website for this solicitation and any future solicitations as well. Bids that are not properly submitted will be considered non-responsive and be disqualified from consideration. Bids submitted late will not be accepted. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Gary Housing Authority. The repair work is intended to restore the entire vaulted structural sidewalk slab with its topping present over the east and south vaulted basement area at the Genesis Tower building, along Broadway and 6th Streets. The repair scope also includes replacement and/or repair of structural framing of the vaulted area, removal of steel tanks, interior partition walls, floor concrete pads, and abandoned equipment within the work area, and decommissioning and/or repositioning electric box panels. Work items for this project include, but are not necessarily limited to, the scope of work.
