Site work for a transportation facility in Bristol, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The County of Washington, Virginia is currently accepting sealed bids from qualified Contractors for the Mendota Trail Collaboration Project Trestle #6. The scope of work for this project will include the infrastructure restoration of Trestle #6 on the Mendota Trail. Upon completion of infrastructure; decking, posts, railing, and approaches will be added to allow the trestle to be used for hiking and biking. The location of the trestle is at approximately 7114 Wolf Run Road, Bristol, Virginia 24202. Two copies of the completed bid form and references must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package marked on the outside with the Contractors name and address and clearly marked: BID FOR MENDOTA TRAIL PROJECT TRESTLE #6 by regular mail delivery (U.S. or private delivery service). No faxed bids or electronic media responses will be accepted. Bids must be signed in ink by an official authorized to bind the Contractor. Bids received after the deadline, postmarks notwithstanding, shall be rejected. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Invitation for Bids Packet, containing instructions and specifications, is attached for your use. Questions to clarify the terms of the Invitation should be submitted by email no later than five working days before the due date to awolfe@mrpdc.org. The email inquiry should be identified with a subject line of: Question Regarding Mendota Trail Project Trestle #6
