The Project includes the following Work: Installation of UV-cured CIPP liner throughout approximately 18,795 LF of sewer line (ranging in size from 8 to 36 diameter) and 308 LF of UV-cured CIPP private lateral sewer lines, with 41 connection rehabilitations of lateral line to main line. Removal and replacement of 96 existing manhole frames and covers with new watertight frames and covers throughout the CIPP lined region, the rehabilitation of approximately 880 VF of sewer manholes, and locating and raising 9 manholes at locations shown in plans. Bidders must comply with the following: The Presidents Executive Order # 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components and Pig iron and direct reduced iron.
