Remodeling of a fitness / recreation center in Rock Island, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a fitness / recreation center.

The Rock Island Park and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified architectural firms for the design, development, and project oversight of a remodel project at the Rock Island Fitness and Activity Center. Project Scope of Services The scope of services will include: 1) Conceptual design and construction cost projection of: a. Remodel Men's and Women's locker rooms i. Replace or rehabilitate all lockers ii. Paint locker room walls iii. Replace floor tile b. Design and Replacement or Refurbishment of two steam rooms and two saunas (one each in men's and women's locker rooms) c. Install windows/glazing in pool area i. Sawcut existing brick wall in 2 to 4 locations and install window/glazing d. Rehabilitate lockers in Boys' and Girls' Locker rooms.
