Remodeling of a medical facility in Wasilla, Alaska. Working plans call for the remodel of a medical facility.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to remodel Station 7-9 West Lakes Ambulance bldg., located at 1250 S. Spring Drive, near mile 51-1/2 W. Parks Hwy. The remodel will include adding rooms for sleeping quarters, adding a new kitchen, fire suppression upgrades, new flooring, paint, various plumbing and electric upgrades, and finish carpentry to include shelving, doors, and trim. Additive Alternate options will include changing first and second floor lighting to LED & adding a storage room in vehicle garage. Questions Due Date: Feb 2nd, 2023, 5:00 PM AKST Bid Bond: 5% Performance Bond:100% Payment Bond: 100% Completion Date: Substantial Completion is set at May 15, 2023, with Final Completion of June 1, 2023. Per owner all bids were rejected, and this project will re-bid ata a future time and date TBD.
