Site work and renovation of a museum in Martinsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; and for site work for a museum.
All questions are to be in writing and must be received by 2:00 pm on April 12,2023 The project is generally described as a 1,642 SF, one-story concrete terrace that connects directly with the museum atrium and a steel frame that supports a low sloped roof system directly above the concrete terrace. A set of concrete stairs that leads from the terrace addition directly to the sidewalk of Oakdale Street. A Bid Bond is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Attendance shall be optional for those submitting a bid. Bidders not attending the pre-bid conference shall acknowledge on the bid form that they have or have not visited and inspected the site. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019.
