For Sludge Removal from the Northport Wastewater Treatment Plant The project will consist of a thirty-six (36) month contract to remove and dispose of wastewater sludge including disposal, labor, material, equipment and all other work required or implied by the Contract Documents (Plans and Specifications). Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Northport, Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. Bid proposals cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days from date of opening. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, in satisfactory form and within ten (10) days of receipt of the Notice of Award, the following: (a) Performance Bond for one-hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract price (b) A Payment Bond for one-hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract price (c) Adequate Public Liability and Workman's Compensation Insurance Northport reserves the right to waive any formality or to reject any and all bids.
