Project Name: SR 80 from Old Bisbee to Erie Street Project (TRACS) Number: T0413 03D District: Southeast Route/MP: SR 80: Old Bisbee to Erie St. Funding Source: Economic Development Agency (EDA), Department of Commerce, American Rescue Plan Act Travel, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Program. Construction Funding FY: FY 2025 Design a 1.43-mile shared use path (SUP) from downtown Bisbee to Erie St. Reconfigure SR80 from Erie St. to Queen Mine Tour from four lanes to three lanes (one travel lane in each direction and a two-way center turn lane). Install approx.. 6-ft wide, 42-in tall median to separate the travel lanes. Construct a retaining wall adjacent to Main St. from the Queen Mine Tour entrance to the SR 80 Main St. underpass. Widen SR 80 Main St. underpass. Construct box culvert west of the existing box culvert bridge to serve as bicycle and pedestrian undercrossing. The design consultant shall lead the project development process. Submittals shall consist of PA or DCR and stage submittals including Stage II, Stage III, Stage IV and Final PS&E. Environmental considerations are CE only. No additional right of way is anticipated to be required. Blue Stake shall be used to identify any existing utilities. The consultant shall provide a bid package which includes plans, specifications and estimates for construction. The design consultant shall also provide necessary project management tasks including coordination, meetings, project schedule updates and comment responses. Document retention, project schedule, and risk register updates within the Workfront platform will be required.
