The City of Downey is accepting bids from experienced planning consultants for the Building Emergency Floor Plan Project. The project's primary goal is to develop building emergency floor plans for 17 city facilities to incorporate into the City's Building Emergency Plan. Images must be provided in the original format file, a PDF version, and a PNG version. This project may require consultants to contact various city department staff for reference documents and/or conduct on-site walk-thru. All floor plans must be approved by the City Project Manager before finalization. Emergency Floor Plans (for each floor), must include but not limited to the following (if applicable): Doors,Rooms/spaces/ notable features in the room (with label, if applicable),Elevators,Evacuation routes,Stairs,Fire extinguishers,Exits,Fire alarms,AED,Any designated safe areas,Name of building and address,Floor Level. Issuance of the Request for Quote does not obligate the City to enter into contract negotiations nor award a contract, nor is the City liable for any costs incurred by a firm in the preparation and submittal of its quote for the subject work. The City, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes received as a result of this Request for Quote, or to cancel this Request for Quote in part or in its entirety without prior notice. The City reserves the right to negotiate with any qualified source. Respondent shall not issue any news release pertaining to the Request for Quote or the City without prior written approval by the City. All quotes will become property of the City of Downey and shall become public record upon delivery to the City. If any proprietary information is contained in the quotes, it should be clearly identified; however, disclosure or nondisclosure of said information is subject to the requirements of the California Public Records Act. As of January 18, 2023, the due date and time has been confirmed with the owner.
