As of Feb 2 the project the project did not receive bids and no plan to rebid at this point. Approximately 12,622 sq ft. Basic sand and refinish gym floor which is to include game lines for basketball and volley ball in accordance with UHSAA regulations. Price submitted must also include an allowance of $5,000.00 for additional game lines, logos and graphics requested by the school. Additional graphics that exceed the allowed amount will be discussed at the job walk and will need to be approved prior to beginning of work. Weber School District is inviting bids to enter into a contract to sand, repair, repaint and refinish maple wood floors. Rocky Mountain approximate square footage is 12,622. The successful bidder may be required to furnish Weber School District a Payment and Performance bond if requested by the district. Costs will be based on a per square foot rate. In no case will price escalation be allowed for a percentage exceeding the Consumer Price Index (CPI). A request must be submitted, in writing, with documentation to support the increase. In the event, that there is a price decrease for products, that decrease must be passed on to the district. Vendor and their employees are expected to comply with the District's code of conduct while working on District property and around students. The Board of Education, Weber School District, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes or any portion thereof and to waive any abnormalities during the bidding process as the District deems to be in their best interest.
