Weber Basin Water Conservancy District (District) is requesting Statements of Qualification (SOQs) to provide professional engineering services for the Weber West Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Planning and Pilot Project. The District's long term master planning calls for a new surface water treatment plant in western Weber County that will treat water from the Weber River and Willard Bay Reservoir. In 2008 the District completed the Site Evaluation for the New Weber-West WTP and Related Facilities which ultimately recommended the proposed WTP site in West Haven, Utah. The proposed intake for the West Haven site is from Willard Bay Reservoir via the existing Willard Canal and the Layton Canal. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
