Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Proposed Improvement: Several small areas of pavement patching, sidewalk replacement, curb and gutter replacement, driveway replacement, structure adjustments and other miscellaneous appurtenances all in accordance with the plans and specifications.The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract.All questions should be received by the Purchasing Division by 4 pm Friday January 27th, 2023 so that an addendum can be issued Monday January 30th, 2023 if required. All questions received after Friday will not be addressed. Several small areas of pavement patching, sidewalk replacement, curb and gutter replacement, driveway replacement, structure adjustments and other miscellaneous appurtenances all in accordance with the plans and specifications. The patching and restoration locations are tracked and will be viewable in the ESRI web application. Although the contractor will be given a list every two weeks to establish completion deadlines, the patching locations will be entered as they arise and will be accessible by the contractor in real time. The contractor will be responsible for having the ability to access the ESRI viewer web application as well as the mobile app through a contractor provided phone/tablet to enter in all restoration measurements and site photos to ensure completion of the work prior to an on-site review by the Engineer (Reference Exhibit A). The City will assist with training and initial setup of the App. The locations will be provided in lists for the contractor and any subcontractor to enter in completed quantities, date completed, as well as listing locations as ready for engineering site review. The contractor is expected to enter in all completed fields on a weekly basis, at a minimum, for ease of review and payment. The City of Aurora's inspection and acceptance of each and all locations on a list will be required prior to the payment for that completed list with no lists being skipped. All lists must be completed in the order they are received. See special provision SP A.5 for project timeline. COMPLETION DATE List 1: Provided at the middle of March - Covers Nov 2022- first half of March 2023. List 2: Provided May 1st - Covering second half of March - April 30th. List 3: Provided June 1st - Covering May 1st - May 31st List 4 and On: Provided every 15 days starting on June 15th.
