Downtown Alpharetta Tree Well Repair Questions Due Date: Jan 31st 2023, 2:00 PM EST The City of Alpharetta is accepting proposals from contractors for repairing/rebuilding the tree wells within the downtown Alpharetta area. The tree wells along North Broad Street, South Broad Street, Commerce Street, Market Street, and Park Plaza are all in need of repair. These areas have all become unsightly and a danger to patrons of the downtown area. Repair methods for these areas have been classified into three categories ranging from complete demo and replacement to simple installation of header curb to lock in the brick pavers. City staff have inspected the tree wells to determine which repair method is needed for each location based on original construction deficiencies and condition. Work required under this contract shall include furnishing materials, qualified labor, equipment, traffic control, etc. for repairing the tree wells.
