The Town of Queen Creek (Town) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Firms/Teams to work with the Town to develop a masterplan or series of masterplans that will guide the Town in moving toward energy resilience. This work will include: Analysis of electrification of the Towns' municipal fleet and the infrastructure required to serve it. o Opportunities to utilize solar technologies to offset the energy consumption of Town facilities and buildings. o Analysis of the need and options for providing electrical vehicle charging stations, both internal and external Town wide, including options for Public/Private Partnerships. o Analysis of grant opportunities that would offset costs associated with these projects. As the Town continues to grow, it is working to identify its needs for energy resiliency and to bring those technologies and infrastructure forward as a part of its ongoing design and construction short and long term planning. The Town has identified three areas which it would like to further explore and those include: electrification of its' fleet to lessen the dependency on oil and its carbon footprint; to identify opportunities to provide alternate electricity generation to offset its power consumption and to look at providing charging stations throughout town for the public and through what methods this may be accomplished Question Submission Deadline:February 2, 2023, 5:00pm The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
