Mid welcomes proposals for assisting the College in the development of a Campus Master Plan. This Plan will identify both the short term (less than 5 years) and long term (5-20 years) physical infrastructure needs of both our Harrison and Mt. Pleasant campuses. The College is seeking to collaborate with a firm that has substantial, direct and relevant experience in the design of master planning documents and drawings for higher education, specifically community colleges. It is highly desirable that the selected firm have substantial knowledge and experience with Capital Projects funded by the State of Michigan and meets the requirements of the State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget Capital Outlay Design Manual. Experience and/or knowledge of instructional programming, emerging technologies, community college enrollment trends and staffing (along with their implications to facility planning and development) is also desirable. The College will be the singular assessor as to whether the proposal has or has not satisfactorily met the requirements of the RFP. A contract will be awarded (subject to successful negotiation of final contract terms, scope of work and budget) to the firm whose proposal is determined to be most advantageous to the College.
