Renovation of a military facility in Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Dover SB MACC D/B B206 Repair/Replace HVAC Mezzanine B in B206, Dover AFB The contractor shall perform load calculations to verify the 2 Area B 60 ton chillers to serve the utility (hydraulic mule) room. The government has a spare 20 ton chiller which can be used to supplement any additional cooling need. See Attachment 5 for manufacturer specifications. The contractor is to design and install an AHU for the electrical room, which will be connected to the air intake shaft. This AHU will also recirculate and cool the air in the room. The system shall be designed to control temperature and humidity within the normal operating range of the equipment installed in the utility room in both the heating and cooling modes. The contractor is also to demo and replace the exhaust fan or install a relief damper. AHU fan shall be direct drive with variable frequency drive (VFD) controlled motor to vary AHU supply depending on load. Tie condensate drain into existing floor drain line. New automated valves and connections shall be provided and installed by the contractor for connections to the new AHU. Install water softener for humidification injection water. $500,000-1 Million *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
